BUSY BUSY BUSY
Well, I have not been on to write in a long time! I stay so busy these days with work, school, and all my extra stuff such as crafts, babysitting, and photography. All in all, GOD is doing some great things! Photography is picking up big time (must thank a great friend for being my model!) And I am one step closer to becoming an RN. Must get these core classes done with and I will be ready for nursing courses!! TOO EXCITED! and work is work! I wouldnt have it any other way though! I absolutely love the job I have. The people are amazing, and can for sure put a smile to your face when you need one, even with the simple silly stuff! I will be posting some photography blogging later, as well as some crafting blogging!

Craft Time
So i have really been into this pinterest site lately:) (well since i got my account, haha) I have done many things that I have seen on the site. & still have many many more things to get done that I have seen on the site! So excited, & ready for some free time to get it done, haha.
The latest project I did from pinterest was painting 3 canvas'. In my opinion I think they turned out good, since I am by far an artist, haha. (on the site that i pinned them from the paintings are about $25 a piece) I on the other hand only paid about $14 for them all:P
This was the pinterest picture:) |
Supplies... 3 canvas', paint brushes, sponge brushes, & paint (your color choice) |
sketch out what you want on it (with a pencil) do it light enough that i can be erased w/o problems. |
paint the background part first:) (i used sponge brush on all but words) |
then paint the design! |
This is them after all painted:) |
Unless you are just AMAZING, I suggest that you take a pencil & write on the canvas once paint is dry. & then paint the verse & reference on them:) MAKE SURE IT IS DRY!!
before i painted the verse:) I was so nervous to paint the verse on them, I thought I was going to mess up! |
my work station, haha! (middle of living room & of course with my cell phone) |

Passion 2012
(this is the group that went John, Ryne, Veronica, Austion, Danielle, Allison, Charlie, Ashlee, Aaron Lynn, ME, & Brandon)
So at the beginning of January I attended a conference in Atlanta, GA called Passion. It was absolutely amazing! It was more like a week of life encounters with God. It lasted 4 days, all the days stayed SO busy and packed. We got there on a Monday around 2, and got home (around 4-5hours away) Thursday around 5:30. The whole
days went with waking up at 7:30, & head out at 8:20 walking from hotel, to the GA DOME. Well the striped green community group met in the GWCC building C. So at 9 we got to the GWCC for community group, and during this time we had family group time, and studied the word, Ephesians 2! After this we would go wait in line at the Dome gates for entry. Between main session @ 10:45 and main session @ 2:00 we had just enough time to get lunch ate that the conference provided. Then we went back to the gate to

wait for entry again. Then we had a few hours for free time before the main session @ 7:00, as we left this session we met back in the GWCC for community/family group @ 9:30 :) but you would think after this is was the end. NOT- We had late night concert at 11:30! The concert ended and we would head back to the hotel & arrive there at about 1:30.
This picture is of the hotel lobby while we wait to get registered and to get to the rooms. (people were everywhere. haha this is a good angle of the lobby) it was a huge lobby!
We had AWESOME, AMAZING, &FABULOUS as well as some FANTASTIC worship leaders!
We did a thing called DO SOMETHING NOW, and this year we raised money to go toward slavery. The goal for these four days was $1 million! As they said at the conference, we are all college students on a noodle budget, lol. But boy oh boy did we go WAY PAST the goal that was set, $3,332,097! WOW! Not only did we give to the organizations listed, but they had back-up organizations if we did! We funded ATLANTA, GA money for a SVU, like unit. To help put a stop to Human Trafficking.
This was Aaron Lynn & mine view the Tuesday morning as Beth Moore shared the word. If you have never been to the Dome, or do not know by looking at this picture we were at the top. (only one row of seats above the one we were on) great view to look out at 40,000+ college students worshiping God.
another blog SOON (like within minutes) with many many more pics!

Christmas (:
Well Christmas has come and gone. But to me Christmas is everyday. I have had an amazing time with my amazing family(: ready to give some people the best Christmas present ever... FREEDOM!! Ready to do something at Passion 2011!
Passion 2012
Wow! This past week I made my way to Atlanta to the GA dome! Louie Giglio puts on a conference called Passion, it was life changing. I went up there with a group of 11 (including me) from Covenant Church. 45,000+ college students! $3.6million dollars! We had awesome worship by: Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Lacrea, Hillsong United, David Crowder Band, & a few others & messages by: Louie Giglio, Beth Moore, Christine Cain, Francis Chan, &John Piper. All of the music was great & so were the messages! Our days were very busy with community groups, main sessions, and late night. We had 3 main sessions a day & 2 community groups. #stripedgreen was the group that all of Covenant was in, although we all got spilt in there into groups of 8 called family groups. At the start we all gave socks and towels which goes to Atlanta homeless shelters. We had Do Something Now, and we raised money for Freedom, to help with slavery/human trafficking. Together we made a hand that is standing in downtown Atlanta that has messages and prayers wrote on material that is made slaves. more to come on #Passion2012 later!

Christmas(:
With Christmas being so close (2 nights away) I figured that I would post something. haha Yes this time of year is so busy, but often we don't slow down to remember the true reason of this season, Christ, & his birth. So many people want to take him out of this holiday but in all reality without him we would not have this holiday. So many people get caught up in Santa, Presents, Elf on the Shelf, etc (the list could go on & on) but they forget the main part. Christmas= Christ My Almighty Savior(: yes this time is fun, with all the Christmas parties and cold weather (even though we don't have any.) This year this special day lands on a Sunday, & so many people are complaining on how they don't wanna go to Church this year on Sunday, well to me there is no better place to spend the birth of Jesus! &unless plans change I will be at Covenant church Christmas morning @10:30!

Photography:)
Photography:) this has always been something that I have been very interested in. I have just recently got me a good camera, which was SOO worth the wait in line. Since then I have taken a few shoots of cane syrup being made, the Merritt family girls, Kidztown class on PJ day, and then of my sister. ( & of course she took some of me as well, haha)
Each one of these was a different experience. I enjoyed each one though! I am looking forward to helping take some pictures this coming Saturday at the 7 Baskets at Christmas as well! I am hoping to take many more in the future:) I am now going to show you a few of the shots:)
more pictures will be up later:)
