Jim Caviezel (Jesus in Passion of the Christ) said "We are born to stand out, NOT fit in!"

Why this is titled awaken is becausse Christians need to wake up and realize all the different things going on in the world around us. The music that people listen to (even some Christians) and the tv shows people watch. The only wat things are going to change is if we make a stand for what is right and don't blend in with the crowd. Many lyrics so many people just sing along due to the music in the background, and they dont really realize what they are singing. Some popular songs right now here are some of the lyrics:

Really? these are the lyrics people are puttin in their minds. Remember garbage in, garbage out. The message in the songs are what goes in our minds and dont need to. To get the nation back, we have to hit our knees and pray! && take a stand for all the right and not the wrong.

Firefighter

So for now I am just gonna use this blog for a little like devotion thing. lol Ok so to start out with I am going to do one that was told at YEC (youth evangelism conference) by Kirk Cameron!

So here it goes. . .

A firefighter was on duty and was sitting in the firetruck listening to his new CD. While listening to his CD he was at a house that was burning. There stood a couple with 3 kids trying to escape the house but was unable to. While he was listening to the CD he sat there and watched this family of five die. He sat there and watched this occur but didn't really think about what he was watching because he was so caught up with listening to the CD.

98% of people do not share their faith

Which category are you in the 2% or the 98%? If you are in the 98% then you are being just like the firefighter, sitting there being caught up in the things going on in the world and you are not sharing your faith! By not sharing your faith you are sittin back watching people die and go to Hell. Whether you want to look at this way or not it the truth.

You are doing one of two things, helping lead people to God so they can be with him eternally in Heaven, or not and doing just as this firefighter did.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS!

I wrote this poem after Lit. EOCT. . . out of pure boredom, like this whole blog thing. lol

Nobody will ever know me personally because i was aborted

at seven months to term.

I was almost fully developed just two more months to let my lungs

get ready for the outside world!

I would do flips, and turn, and swirl.

I would even suck my thumb that was my favorite thing to do!

Except one day I was sucking my thumb and felt a burning sensation.

It started in the soul of my foot and worked itself through out my whole body.

It was very uncomfortable!

I remember screaming wishing my mommy would help and make the burning stop.

But then I remember hearing her cry, and then asked the doctor. . .

was it ok and he said yes, everything will be back to normal in no time.

Those were the last words I heard!

Now I am being rocked by Jesus in his big rocking chair.

Today I would be eight months old!

I can talk and walk now.

I now walk the beautiful streets of heaven!!!

true friends

I wrote this the summer of 2008 =) I hope you like it. I just put my honest opinion into it.

What exactly are true friends? Nobody quiet knows. . . we all have our own opinions of what they are and here is mine.

True Friends are people that don't talk about you behind your back, people that are there for you when you need them most! They care about your feelings but will be honest with you. They will be there when the one person you cared about most broke your heart. Unlike the people that are great actors and will act like your friend. They are just ordinary people that use great people. True Friends are also people that you can trust, people that respect you for you. They do not want you to change for them. True Friends are you people that you can trust. They don't ignore you no matter what, where you are. who you are around. or who they are around. They never stab you in the back, nor use you to get a boy, or anything else.

Month by Month

First off I would like to say that I did not write all of this, I took parts of an email I got and added parts to it. =) please enjoy

month 1-
Mommy I am only 8in long but I have all my organs. I love the sound of your voice. Every time I hear it I wave my arms and my legs. The sound of your heart beat is my favorite lullaby.
month 2-
Mommy. Today I learned how to suck my thumb. If you could see me, you could deff. tell that I am a baby. I'm not big enough to survive outside of my home though. Its so nice and warm in here.
month 2-
You know what Mommy? I AM A GIRL!! I hope you are happy. I always want you to be happy. I don't like it when you cry. You sound so sad. It makes me sad too, and I cry with you even though you can't hear me.
month 4-
Mommy my hair is starting to grow. It is very short and fine, but I will have a lot of it. I spend lots time exercising. I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes, and stretch my arms and legs. I am becoming quiet good at it to.
month 5-
You went to the doctor today. He lied to you! He said that I am not a baby.I am mommy, I am your baby mommy. I can think and I can feel. Mommy what is abortion?
month 6-
I can hear that doctor again. I don't like him. He seem cold and heartless! Something is intruding my home. The doctor called it a needle. Mommy what is it?? IT BURNS! Please make it stop, I can not get away from it. Mommy HELP ME!!! NOOOOOOOOOO.........
month 7-
Mommy, I am okay. I am in Jesus' arms now. He is holding me, he told me what abortion is and all about it. Why didn't you want me?

Every abortion is just.... one more heart that was stopped. Two more hands that will never touch. Two more legs that will never run. And one more mouth that will never speak!
