Passion 2012

(this is the group that went John, Ryne, Veronica, Austion, Danielle, Allison, Charlie, Ashlee, Aaron Lynn, ME, & Brandon)

So at the beginning of January I attended a conference in Atlanta, GA called Passion. It was absolutely amazing! It was more like a week of life encounters with God. It lasted 4 days, all the days stayed SO busy and packed. We got there on a Monday around 2, and got home (around 4-5hours away) Thursday around 5:30. The whole
days went with waking up at 7:30, & head out at 8:20 walking from hotel, to the GA DOME. Well the striped green community group met in the GWCC building C. So at 9 we got to the GWCC for community group, and during this time we had family group time, and studied the word, Ephesians 2! After this we would go wait in line at the Dome gates for entry. Between main session @ 10:45 and main session @ 2:00 we had just enough time to get lunch ate that the conference provided. Then we went back to the gate to

wait for entry again. Then we had a few hours for free time before the main session @ 7:00, as we left this session we met back in the GWCC for community/family group @ 9:30 :) but you would think after this is was the end. NOT- We had late night concert at 11:30! The concert ended and we would head back to the hotel & arrive there at about 1:30.

This picture is of the hotel lobby while we wait to get registered and to get to the rooms. (people were everywhere. haha this is a good angle of the lobby) it was a huge lobby!

We had AWESOME, AMAZING, &FABULOUS as well as some FANTASTIC worship leaders!
We did a thing called DO SOMETHING NOW, and this year we raised money to go toward slavery. The goal for these four days was $1 million! As they said at the conference, we are all college students on a noodle budget, lol. But boy oh boy did we go WAY PAST the goal that was set, $3,332,097! WOW! Not only did we give to the organizations listed, but they had back-up organizations if we did! We funded ATLANTA, GA money for a SVU, like unit. To help put a stop to Human Trafficking.

This was Aaron Lynn & mine view the Tuesday morning as Beth Moore shared the word. If you have never been to the Dome, or do not know by looking at this picture we were at the top. (only one row of seats above the one we were on) great view to look out at 40,000+ college students worshiping God.

another blog SOON (like within minutes) with many many more pics!
